Queen Annes Revenge

The project brings together the two artforms - Turner/ Napier writing new songs inspired by short films and film makers inspired by Queen Anne songs.

The film was made with the assistance of the Prelinger archives - a public domain internet archive initiated in New York.

A rich palette of guest musos adds colour, and if the singing is not the best in the world, the articulate irony, early-onset grumpy old man syndrome and daft surrealism fuse in songs about nuclear fission, whisky and wrongly sexed tortoises.
