Watercolour Music is a recording studio and media production company based in Ardgour, Fort William , at the heart of the Scottish Highlands.It is owned and run by producer Nick Turner and his wife, musician and broadcaster Mary Ann Kennedy .
Watercolour offers the perfect environment to help you fulfil your creative ideas: an inspiring location for writing and pre-production, and a highly-sought after venue for recording, mixing and mastering. This site is also home to Nick's and Mary Ann's individual projects – you'll find direct links for these at the bottom of this page.

Watercolour New Studio hosts BBC Radio Three. As part of Scottish week, Watercolour hosted Mary Ann Kennedy's BBC 3 show "World on Three". In session were Sandy Wright and the Toxic Cowboys along with the Bevy Sisters. If you are quick you can catch it here on the BBC iplayer

John Goldie's latest CD is almost ready. Due for Release early Spring. Please visit his site for latest tour dates
Mr Ruairidh Macmillan is putting the finishing touches to his debut CD. Brian McNeill is producing. A little bird tells me that Ewan Robertson's debut CD is mastered and due out on Greentrax later this year. We have also been recording the fabulous Alex Cornish's secong CD as well as producing a BBC session with special guests Iain Morrison and Mary Ann.
The very talented singer/songwriter Jill Jackson has been in tracking for her new Album. "Wanted" will be out later in the year.
The resplendant Saor Patrol have also just visited and recorded fourteen tracks live. The studio perfectly suited their set up.
